This is a little African American Boy looking out of a towrn swindow screen. The building is made of simple cheap wooden boards. He seams to be a little dirty and is looking out the window because there is nothing else to do. During the Great Depression many people were poor and that definetly include many African Americans. This might be a wall and widow of his house, he might be looking out of the window to see if something happens outside becasue there was nothing to do in this time period except look for jobs to help your family.
